More About Coaching and me

Why work with me?

I’m a compassionate and agile leader from the tech sector, once described as ‘the soul of the company’, who recognises the benefits of breaking down goals for management and coaching. With my line management experience of looking after others and product/project management experience, coaching is a natural additional string to my bow.

I’ve always been interested in the health sector. In addition to a master’s degree in health informatics, I am also a menopause champion, menopause coach and most recently worked as a femtech product and delivery manager. I also advocate and practice menstrual cycle awareness. I strongly believe in working with our minds and bodies throughout our life journey. I also practice body literacy and am an advocate of using devices such as continuous glucose monitoring (cgm) to better understand our bodies and influences on them. 🌿

I wanted to become a coach to help others thrive while working with and undertanding their minds and bodies better. Menopause impacts everyone whether directly going through it, or supporting as family members, friends, colleagues and companies. It is a natural phase of life which sadly has not been researched enough or even taught in medical schools, leading to people feeling isolated and unsure how to work through it or to get help. Coaching can help be a support system to provide information, a sounding board and create a safe space to explore and check-in with oneself during this special phase. ✨

ADHD coaching is important since there are many who feel they have this or feel they have a variety of symptoms but in the UK the wait lists for NHS diagnosis is several years. Once diagnosed, some people feel ‘diagnosed then dumped’ not fully sure how to work with their mind and body post diagnosis. By offering coaching, I can help people wherever they are in their journey. The level 1 coaching qualification from ADHD works was obtained by participating in live group lessons with practice sessions and an evaluated recorded coaching session.

Combing information from both menopause and ADHD coaching, I learned that neurodivergence becomes more evident during high hormone turbulence such as during puberty, pregnancy and peri menopause. 💫

As an inclusive, BIPOC leader, so long as you are committed to inspecting and adapting your current situation through coaching or agile managememt processes for products and projects, I am happy to chat with you about working together to meet your goals.
